Already very well established in the industry thanks to Elite Dangerous, Planet Zoo or Planet Coaster, Frontier Developpements will tackle motor sport with various games centered around Formula 1.
The studio has indeed obtained an official license, which will allow him to develop several titles, with to start a management game which should reach us during the 2022 season. The other projects are not yet known, but we know that the license is available to them at least until 2025, subject to satisfactory financial results. David Braben, CEO of Frontier, expressed himself on this subject in a press release relayed by VCG :

F1 is one of the most popular global sports franchises in the world, and we believe that the combination of the F1 brand and our vast experience in management games will provide fantastic gaming experiences to a wide and varied audience across the world.
More generally, the studio indicates that this is a very good opportunity to bring together the various skills present and highlight the Cobra engine. These titles will come complete the offer from Codemasters, which takes care of simulations dedicated to Formula 1 for years, and which will continue to do so until 2025. On the Frontier side, we are targeting cross-platform releases, ranging from consoles to PCs and streaming services.
