Teams will have a sporting director, who will allow players to manage pit crews and their training schedules. Players can also opt for faster pit stops against an increased risk of errors.

According to Frontier, the races themselves have also been improved compared to F1 Manager 2022. The game will now have shifting race lines. The game is also getting a new confidence system for drivers, which should determine the extent to which they try to make overtaking actions.

The game will feature all 23 races from Formula 1’s 2023 season, including the six planned sprint races. The game will once again be commentated by David Croft and Karun Chandhok, who are commentating the F1 season in real life for Sky Sports.

F1 Manager 2023 will be released in the summer, but no concrete release date has yet been announced. The game will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S. The game will also be released for PCs via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It will be Frontier’s second F1 management game after releasing F1 Manager 2022 last year.
