JAKARTA – After initially delaying its launch last July, Forever Entertainment’s Front Mission 2: Remake now has a new release date.
The strategy game from publisher Forever Entertainment will be released on October 5 for the Nintendo Switch, retailing for $34.99 (Rp. 533,000) on the Nintendo eShop.
This remake of Front Mission 2 will be set 12 years after the second Huffman conflict. The impoverished People’s Republic of Alordesh has been in a dire economic slump since the war ended.

“In June 2102, soldiers of the Alordesh Army rose and, led by Ven Mackarge, declared independence from OCU (Oceania Cooperative Union),” the developer wrote in the game’s description.
You will play as Ash, an OCU soldier, who has survived the battle. But back then, Alordesh was completely controlled by the Revolutionary Army.
You and your surviving teammates will infiltrate the chaotic underground of Alordesh in an attempt to escape the country. But sadly, you soon find out that there is a big conspiracy behind the coup.
It’s also stated that in Front Mission 2, you can switch perspectives between the three characters, namely Ash, Lisa, and Thomas, to create a world view that goes beyond the simple dichotomy between good and evil.
As well as updated visuals and modernized battle scenes, players will also be able to zoom and rotate the camera during battle.
The remake also has updated music and effects, faster loading speeds, and support for other languages in dialogs and menus.
