Minecraft modder Potomy and his team have been hard at work porting FromSoftware’s masterpiece for the past two years. Fortunately, the end is near. The new teaser masterfully captures the layout of central Yharnam. And the footage brings back vivid memories of exploring an ominous Gothic city.
The video above has some really cool angles that capture the verticality of Yharnam. If you haven’t played Bloodborne in a while, you might have forgotten how menacing this city is – its dark spiers tower high above the player, and sometimes even bear some kind of terrible monster, ready to pounce from above.
Many in the comments under the tweet even say that they are ready to pay the modder for the final product. There’s no indication yet that the developer and team will be distributing it this way, but there is a hint that the mod will allow players to explore entirely new areas of Yharnam.
