From tomorrow, February 17, BNT will part with the long-time journalist and host of the central news program “Around the World and in Bulgaria” – Spas Kyosev.
“I am 38 years old. Half my life was spent on the Bulgarian National Television! I love my job, I love BNT. But life is a movement. After 18 years in television journalism I need a new cause, challenges and horizons. I chose to dedicate myself to this in “Bulgaria should have a more objective and fairer environment for success and entrepreneurship. I am part of the team of the Bulgarian Startup Association,” said Spas Kyosev.
For 18 years Spas Kyosev has been dedicated to television journalism, 17 of which – in the Bulgarian National Television.
The viewers of BNT know him as the host of the central news program “Around the World and in Bulgaria”, but also as the author and host of the show “BNT Taxi”, National Television reports. 2005 and at the age of 21 he became the youngest host of a central news program.
For eight years he also worked on the show “BNT Taxi”, which won two awards for journalism – an award from the Association of European Regional Televisions CIRCOM (2011), presented by a jury of the BBC and the Annual Awards for Television Journalism “Saint Vlas” 2013). In 2012, he underwent training at CNN’s Atlanta headquarters, organized by Bulgarian National Television. Spas Kyosev is the author of a number of documentaries and reports, including for the show “Panorama”.
“Spas Kyosev is an exceptional professional and colleague. Our team is parting with him with sadness, but we respect his decision to continue his professional path in another direction. We wish him success,” said Mariela Dragolova, director of News and Current Affairs at BNT.
The team and the management of the Bulgarian National Television wish health and success to the new horizons of their colleague Spas Kyosev.
