The way out of the corona crisis is to vaccinate as large a part of the population as possible. With the fourth wave of the pandemic still looming, vaccination protects yourself and others.

In the coming weeks, the Munich Adult Education Center will be offering spontaneous and free vaccinations against Covid-19 at various locations. The vaccinations are carried out by the mobile vaccination team of the City of Munich.

Who can get vaccinated?
People aged 16 and over who are resident in Germany can be vaccinated without making an appointment in advance; the vaccine can generally be chosen freely. Prior registration under impfzentren.bayern is desirable in order to speed up the process on site, but not a mandatory requirement.

Can you also get a second vaccination at the Munich adult education center?
Second vaccinations are also carried out, provided the minimum interval to the first vaccination is maintained (BioNTech 3 weeks, AstraZeneca cross-vaccination with BioNTech 4 weeks). Proof of the initial vaccination (yellow vaccination certificate or vaccination certificate) is required for this.

Can you get vaccinated without having your main residence in Munich?
People who do not have their primary residence in Munich can also get vaccinated. For the vaccination, you must bring a valid identification document (identity card or passport) and, if available, the yellow vaccination certificate. The City of Munich provides the latest information on all vaccination offers on their website at muenchen.de/corona

How things stand, by the way, about coping with the pandemic from a medical point of view is explained on October 7th, Dr. Dieter Hoffmann in the online lecture “The darned coronavirus: news from the laboratory”. The latest study results allow a sober look at emotional debates. The lecture has the course number N340050.
