Thrifting become a fashion trend favored by young people. Thrifting is hunting for used branded clothes, which are generally imported from abroad.

Ajis admitted that there is a daily target set by the thrift shop boss, which is a minimum of IDR 1 million per day. From Ajis’s statement, his boss has a total of 25 shops around Pasar Senen.
Traders get supplies of used clothes from age at Senen Market. One ball containing 200 to 500 clothes is priced at IDR 5 million – IDR 7 million. However, not all of them passed the sorting and were worthy of sale.
The majority of the clothing comes from Japan, South Korea, and a small part from the United States. The price itself varies, depending on the quality and brand of clothing.
However, for millennials, the price of clothes at Pasar Senen is relatively affordable. Lucky buyers can bring home products from popular brands such as Zara, GAP, H&M with prices starting from IDR 35 thousand.
