Within the framework of the campaign against covid-19, the Municipality of Montevideo (IM) in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) and the Honorary Commission for the Fight against Tuberculosis and Prevalent Diseases, will carry out vaccination sessions in faculties.
The commune reported that “on Thursday, March 24 and Friday, March 25, vaccination days against covid-19 will be held in the esplanade of the Faculty of Law from University of the Republic (Av. 18 de Julio and Eduardo Acevedo), from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
“To access the first, second or third doses of the Pfizer vaccine, it is required to present an identity card and be over 12 years old. People are vaccinated on a first-come, first-served basis and it is not necessary to schedule”, adds the IM on its website.
In the last week of March and during the month of April these vaccination days against covid-19 will be extended to the following points:
Faculty of Economic Sciences and Administration (FCEA) and Faculty of Information and Communication (FIC): Wednesday, March 30
Faculty of Social Sciences (FCS): Wednesday, March 30
Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism (FADU): Thursday, March 31
Faculty of Engineering (FING): Thursday, March 31
Faculty of Agronomy (Fagro): Wednesday, April 6
Faculty of Medicine (FMED) and Faculty of Chemistry: Wednesday, April 6
Hospital de Clínicas, Faculties of Dentistry, Schools of Nursing, Nutrition and Midwives: Thursday, April 7
Faculty of Sciences (FCIEN): Thursday, April 7
This action is added to the vaccination instances carried out at fairs in Montevideo from January to March of this year.
