This weekend in Mulhouse the 39th edition of the European Heritage Days takes place, with a great program on the themes of sustainable heritage and a year dedicated to William Wyler. Many are the proposed visits, in the museums and the Maison du patrimoine, but also to the SIM, the Le Chrome building, the Grand’Rue library, La Fonderie, the DMC site, the Wagner eco-district or even the central cemetery. Even the Filature, the municipal baths, the Saint-Jean chapel, the archives and even the Masonic Lodge will unveil their backstage. Read our article.

A triple concert for the first symphonic concert of the OSM

The Orchester symphonique de Mulhouse (OSM) launches its new season with this first symphonic concert, which promises to be brilliant! The overture to Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Beethoven’s Triple Concerto and Symphony no. 2 by Brahms. Three soloists directed by Christian Schumann are invited for this concert: the cellist Victor Julien-Laferrière, the pianist Marie-Ange Nguci and the violinist Pierre Fouchenneret.

Model making takes place at the Cité du train

It is an established tradition, which began in 2006. The Model Show will take control of the Cité du train, in collaboration with the RAMCAS association. Scheduled for Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September: scale models of all types of vehicles (trains, cars, trucks, boats, etc.), conferences, workshops and a fair with professional and amateur exhibitors.

Encourage Les Mulhousiennes!

The fight against cancer continues with Les Mulhousiennes organizing the (already) ninth edition of one of the most beautiful events in the Cité du Bollwerk, combining sport, conviviality and generosity. On Sunday, from 10:08 exactly, 6,000 participants will start the solidarity march from the Ill stadium, which will take them on a slightly modified route through the city. The day before, also at the Ill stadium, over 500 children and teenagers will take part in the youth competitions. There are many appointments for which it is highly recommended to come and encourage them. Read our article.

Ancient music in Sainte-Marie

Let’s go for the ninth season of early music in the Sainte-Marie church in Mulhouse. Started in 2014, it offers from 25 to 30 concerts a year, ranging from medieval music to that of the first half of the 19th century, passing through the Renaissance and the rich Baroque period. Opening on Sunday 18 September at 5 pm with the Calisto ensemble, which will present “Jauchzet gott in allen landen”, a compendium of works by Vivaldi, Handel and Bach.
