from Texas to New York… A road trip to the divided heart of America

The United States is a polarized country, where the American presidential election is played above everything else on earth. In this special episode of the A letter from AmericaBenédte Tassard, head of the foreign service of the RTLbringing us closer to the campaign, through reports from our correspondents on site.

Guide Texas first, Beyoncé’s home. The star was also with Kamala Harris in Houston on October 25 to support her. Texas is also an illegal immigration state, the most important issue in this campaign for the White House. It is Donald Trump‘s hobby horse and the local Republican governor is out. Result: migrants die crossing the Rio Grande. Vincent Serrano was able to collect credentials.

We will then go to New York, a Democratic city that Donald Trump dreams of winning, and where his supporters are no longer hiding.
