Dresden – Valid from Sunday the new Corona regulation – with loosening for the gastronomy. Then bars will be allowed to set their opening times freely again. Vaccinated and recovered guests no longer have to show a negative test. But there can be no talk of a sigh of relief in the industry. The mood among the dresden Wirten ranges from disappointed to slightly confident.

“The easing doesn’t make a big difference. Most of our guests are boosted. A breakthrough would have been a 3G regulation,” says “Luisenhof” host Carsten Rühle (52) in a nutshell.
He finds it incomprehensible that he is sticking to 2G outdoors.
“The loosening is disappointing. We had hoped that at least in the beer garden there would be no contact tracing. That is an enormous effort that also ties up staff,” says “ElbeGarten” boss Andreas Wunsch (57).

“Schießhaus” landlady Ute Stöhr can live with the relaxation
“Schießhaus” landlady Ute Stöhr (52) can also live with the relaxation.
“In view of the high positive numbers, that’s okay. I had Corona myself when I was vaccinated, and that was anything but a cold,” says the old town restaurateur.
“Even with the 2G-Plus regulation, the shooting range was relatively well filled. If the test is eliminated, it’s a relief for the guests.”

For Susi Ackermann (42), the dry spell is finally over. For the Dynamo game on Sunday, she reopens “Susi’s Sportsbar” for the first time in three months – at least the covered beer garden (2G) with live broadcast of the match.
Susi sees it sporty: “Everyone else doesn’t have to die of thirst either. The beer truck with street vending is open to every guest.”
For now, she plans to only open for soccer games.
