Danima’s bold move
What’s up Javidbetter known as For dayshas had an impressive career that has taken him from the radio studio to the teacher’s desk to the hottest DJ booths in Europe. The native Iranian, who has lived in Cologne since 1999, is captivating more and more people with his music and unique series of events. The path to his career as a DJ, producer and organizer began for For days but in a completely different world – that of broadcasting, sports and education. With almost ten years of experience as a presenter at BigFM and RPR1 For days continually expanded his musical understanding and gained deep insights into the world of music. After studying sports science at the renowned Cologne Sports University and with a diploma in his pocket, he worked For days also almost six years as a teacher. But in the summer of 2024 he decided to put everything on one card and devote himself fully to music.
Back in 2011, he started his first event brand “Ohne Vorspiel” as a part-time job, which focused primarily on tech house, deep house and melodic techno. But his new focus is on the innovative Afro-House / Afro-Tech event series “Bayamo Fusion”. Since June 2023, “Bayamo Fusion” has been a permanent institution in the North Rhine-Westphalia music scene and has brought Afro house acts of international caliber to the Bootshaus Cologne such as caiiro and Enoo Napa on the stage. His two events in April and June 2024 also thrilled the audience and marked the start of a new, dynamic era in the Cologne club landscape.
The next step will be in August 2024: For days released his first tracks and the “Passii” EP made it straight to number 34 on the Traxsource charts – a promising confirmation of his producer debut and his music, which he aptly calls “fusion club sound”, in which his influences from the club scene and his culture are reflected Unite background.
His latest release “Victory” was released at the beginning of November and once again impresses with house vibes and African influences – music that lives primarily from the power of the night and the collective energy of the audience. But just listen for yourself:
With full commitment to the future
Mit Bayamo Fusion Records hat For days has now founded his own label with which he not only wants to bring Afro House to the German club scene, but also build a community that shares his passion for music and provides new cultural impulses. In addition, his new single called “Calima” will be released in a few days, which has already been released by, among others BLR in whose Autumn Mix was supported.
His career shows that it is never too late to decide on your dreams and open new chapters. As a DJ, producer and label founder, he doesn’t stand still, but actively shapes the scene. And who knows what else we can expect from him in the future – but one thing is certain: he will continue to inspire us not only with his music, but also with his dedication.
