From Software thanks for the support of the fans

After the official announcement of the next big project by “Sekiro” developer From Software, the long-awaited “Elden Ring” fell silent. Recently, new rumors about the fantasy title germinated, but tangible new details about the title are few and far between. However, this doesn’t stop fans from continuing to look forward to the game and keeping their fingers crossed for the studio for their new work. Elden Ring still without a release date

Yasuhiro Kitao, who is responsible for promotion and marketing at “Elden Ring”, addressed the waiting fans more precisely. In his short message, he first thanks everyone who voted for the game at “The Game Awards 2020” and made it the winner in the “Masters awaiting game” category, as well as everyone else “who continues to support us”.

In addition, he writes: “Thanks to those who play our games and continue to be loyal to us, we can drive forward the development relentlessly and highly motivated. Thank you. ”Finally, the second part of the message says that all fans should continue to take good care of themselves in order to enjoy the“ New Year in good spirits and in good health ”.

Only a few days ago rumors were circulating about the current state of “Elden Ring”. An Italian journalist claims to have learned that publication of the title was actually planned for 2020, but that the game had to be postponed to 2021 due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, in terms of its gameplay, the fantasy game should, unlike the last “Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice”, be closer to the “Dark Souls” titles.

“Elden Ring” is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC. The title does not have an official release date yet.
