“Rīgas satiksme” informs that, forecasting the increase of passenger flow, changes in public transport timetables will be made on working days from September 1 and on weekends from September 5. The total number of public transport output on working days will be increased by 760 flights, but on weekends by 387 Also, from September 1, the 4z, 35, 59 bus route and the 9th tram route will be renewed on weekdays, and on the weekends – the 57th, 59th bus route and the 13th trolleybus route.
From 1 September, changes to the following timetables have been made on working days:
- 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21 , 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 31, 32, 36, 37, 41, 43, 44, 46, 48, 49, 50, 51 ., Bus routes 52, 53 and 57;
- On tram routes 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 11;
- 1, 3, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 25 and 27. trolleybus route.
From September 5, changes in the following schedules have been made on weekends:
- On routes 2, 3, 5, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 24, 29, 31, 32, 36, 51, 52 and 58;
- On tram routes 1, 2, 5, 7, 10 and 11;
- On trolleybus routes 1, 3, 4, 5, 9, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23 and 25.
From 1 September, minor adjustments will be made to the departure times between stops on the working day timetable for bus routes 3, 28, 30, 34, 47 and 56 (departure times from destinations will remain unchanged). In its turn, the arrival time at the destination of the route “Abrenes Street” will be changed in the working day schedule of the 38th, 39th and 54th bus route.
From 5 September, the holiday schedule for bus routes 21, 28, 46 and 50 will be slightly adjusted for departure times between stops (departure times from destinations will remain the same).
With the end of the beach and recreation season, from September 1, the bus of route 30 will run only on weekdays, while the bus of route 29 will run on the route “Mežciems – Vecmīlgrāvis”.
“Rīgas satiksme” will follow the passenger flows and, if necessary, make changes in the timetable.
