From “sad” to “no influence on our relationship with UK”: this is how the Commonwealth responds to interview of Harry and Meghan

The Commonwealth is a voluntary alliance of 54 countries, many of which are ex-colonies in Asia, Africa or the Caribbean. In fact, Queen Elizabeth is still – formally – the head of state of 16 of those countries. The interview that Meghan Markle, the wife of the British Prince Harry, gave to the American talk show host Oprah Winfrey is also about the tongues here. The reactions are very diverse.

For example, Meghan Markle spoke in the interview about how she faced racism. In addition, she felt unprotected by the British Royal Family. She said she had dark thoughts, but was getting no help. And said the British royal family was not correcting the gossip that was circulating about her.
