Where he started out as a pianist, a major event in his life caused him to immediately pick up the sticks and start playing the vibraphone. He is now one of the greatest vibraphonists in the Netherlands and he shows that the vibraphone is an instrument that belongs there. Together with his ensemble TRIFID, consisting of accordionist Rik Cornelissen, double bassist Maciej Domaradski and himself, he combines tango, jazz and classical music into otherworldly tones that sound live in this episode of Keihard Klassiek.
