The Paris Saint-Germain coach responds to the failure of the Ziyech deal, and a last chance for the Moroccan star.
Moroccan Hakim Ziyech, the English Chelsea player, still has the opportunity to leave his club this month, despite the closing of the winter transfer window in most European countries.
Besiktas wants to sign Ziyech on loan from Chelsea. The Turkish team’s management is evaluating what it will cost from the contract and whether the deal is feasible for it or not, according to Turkish journalist Gokman Ozkan.
The door to winter transfers in Turkey closes on the eighth of February. That is, the club has the opportunity to reverse Paris Saint-Germain, who failed to borrow the services of Hakim, who was already in Paris, because his English club failed to send the correct papers for the deal before the transfer window closed.
Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier denied to his fans his club’s failure to complete the deal: “For several reasons, the deal for the player we targeted did not take place. We have high-level players, young people will be given the opportunity to play in the second part of the season, we have a busy schedule, and we have to beware of injuries and fatigue.”
And the Paris coach continued, “I am satisfied with the team with which we started the season. Unfortunately, we did not compensate for Sarabia’s departure, but the responsibility does not lie with our club; this is life and we look forward to what comes next.”
