From Paris to Mulhouse, when prostitution of minors explodes

Is it so easy to fall into prostitution when you are 15? A meeting via Instagram, Snapchat, a few car rides, a few restaurants… and very quickly, naked photos, a profile on a dedicated site, an apartment rental on Airbnb, and finally, the first visits, the first clients.

In recent years, the phenomenon has been booming. First treated under the prism of city pimping, today it affects all social circles…

Here, there is no prostitution according to these young girls, butescorting…A choice, a freedom to dispose of one’s body, a way to grow, to emancipate oneself, to earn one’s own money…

For years, associations and institutions have been warning… In less than ten years, the figures have doubled: There are now between 10 and 20,000 minors prostituted in France, the range is approximate.

How to explain this growth? How can we combat this exploitation of children, who often break away and wander in a city tour of France, depending on customer requests and ratings?
