As a result first day of Russian sales GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards in the Founders Edition reference performance via confusing scheme with the participation of the distributor DiHouse and the AliExpress platform, only 130 accelerators were sold. As expected, some of these video cards are already being resold by speculators at inflated prices on Russian secondary trading floors.
According to the statistics of the official retail distributor NVIDIA, through the DiHouse online store on AliExpress, the company has implemented:
- GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition in quantity 50 pieces;
- GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition in quantity 50 pieces;
- GeForce RTX 3070 Founders Edition in quantity 30 pieces.

Unfortunately, Russian speculators have not lagged behind Western ones in resourcefulness. If you look for offers on the Russian Avito site, then already now you can find some of the video cards sold yesterday – mainly the flagship GeForce RTX 3090 FE models. Russian speculators offer to buy them at a price of 150 to 200 thousand rubles. Recall that the recommended cost of this video card, which they used to make purchases in the official store, is 136,990 rubles.

Also, there have already been several announcements for the sale of the younger version of the GeForce RTX 3070 Founders Edition. The card is offered for purchase for 70 thousand rubles instead of the official 45 490 rubles, for which it was sold by DiHouse. There are no offers for the sale of the GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition yet, but it is quite possible that more offers will appear on Avito in the coming days.
It seems that despite the efforts of NVIDIA to screen out bots and speculators, as well as the delay in the release of the GeForce RTX 3070 model by several weeks around the world and in Russia (and the GeForce RTX 30 series cards performed by the Founders Edition appeared later than other countries) , all this did not have any positive effect. Video cards are still in terrible shortage everywhere and are sold out in minutes.

The consolation here may be that the Russians were not alone in their problem. Some popular Western bloggers also complained that they could not get a reference sample of the GeForce RTX 3070. The fact is that in some Western markets NVIDIA decided to sell reference samples through large retail chains. For example, according to a YouTube blogger and an insider under the nickname NotAnAppleFan, the sites of the British stores Scan and Overclockers.co.uk constantly “fell” from the influx of visitors who wanted to buy the younger model of the GeForce RTX 30-series, or the video cards were instantly sold out as soon as they became available.
According to the resource Overclock3DSome UK shoppers even slept at one of the local Scan retailers to be among the first to buy the coveted GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card.
