From now on the Eurovision finalists will be determined by the viewers at home | Music

Previously, votes from the public counted for half. The other part was determined by national juries made up of music professionals. Next year the latter will no longer vote in the semifinals. The result of the final will be determined by the audience and the juries.

Another change is that next year all countries will be able to vote, including countries that do not participate in the Eurovision Song Contest. They can do this online through a special platform. People from participating countries can still vote by phone, SMS or app.

The Eurovision Song Contest is next year from 9 to 13 May in Liverpool.
