From Neza to Naucalpan: Edomex municipalities that have no electricity

This February 16, CENACE reported on blackouts in Edomex and 12 other entities; These are the affected Mexican municipalities.

The authorities explained that these cuts are due to the increase in peak demand in the evening and at night in the National Interconnected System and the unavailability of sufficient generation to cover the northern and northeastern regions of the country.

Cenace explained that the power cuts will last for about 30 minutes.

Municipalities affected by the blackouts in Edomex

Through social networks, the areas with blackouts in Edomex were made known.

Users pointed out that the electric power service left minutes after 6:00 p.m. in Nezahualcóyotl, although not in the entire municipality.

At approximately 6:10 p.m., residents of Texcoco indicated that the service had also been affected.

In Ecatepec they also took out the candles to face the blackouts in Edomex and others even took the opportunity to enjoy the wonders that nature offers.

Naucalpan residents were also affected by the blackouts in Edomex.

In Valle de Chalco, things were no different. From 18:15 hours, users reported the lack of electricity.

In Mexico City, no major impacts are reported; However, residents of Coapa, south of CDMX, accused that the lack of electricity had already lasted for about an hour.
