Mexico City.- Users will now be able to manually rearrange the shows and movies that appear in Netflix’s “Continue Watching” queue, giving them greater freedom to stop watching content they didn’t like or have already watched multiple times.
“Having an empty email inbox is a pipe dream, but why not give your ‘Continue Watching’ row a try? We heard you, so we’ve added a new feature that allows you to clean up your ‘Continue Watching’ row” said Christine Doig-Cardet, director of product innovation for Netflix.
“Whether you want to delete a selection you don’t like or a classic you’ve seen too many times, or you want to sort by Marie Kondo’s method, this new feature will allow you to do a constant cleanup of the ‘Continue Watching’ row and keep the titles you really want to enjoy.
This feature is already available on mobile devices, on the website and for smart TVs, although Netflix did not specify which ones.
To use it, subscribers to the streaming service must click on a title and choose “Remove from Queue” from the options that appear in the “Continue Watching” list of series and movies. If the user changes their mind, they can undo the deletion.
