LOMBOK, KOMPAS.TV – Lombok Island is currently getting the attention of Indonesia and even the world when the Mandalika Circuit holds an international class race, namely World Superbike (WSBK) 2021.

Dozens of racers and hundreds of crew involved flocked to Central Lombok district, the place where Indonesia’s pride race track, the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit is located.

With so many immigrants from abroad who came to one of the areas in the Central Indonesian Time (WITA) region, of course, many stories and events came along with it.

Here are some stories and unique behaviors that the WSBK drivers did while at the Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok.

Toprak Razgatlioglu Joins Mowing the Grass with Mothers

Before the WSBK was held at the Mandalika Circuit, surely not many people knew Toprak Razgatlioglu.

Toprak Razgatlioglu is a motorcycle racer from the Pata Yamaha team competing in the 2021 World Superbike season.

The man of Turkish nationality is currently trying to win the WSBK title after being 30 points ahead of his closest competitor, Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) who is the champion for six consecutive seasons of World Superbike.

On the sidelines of his busy preparation for the WSBK race, Razgatlioglu was seen doing a unique event by participating with the women cutting the grass around the Mandalika Circuit.

This was known in an upload on his Instagram account a few days ago ahead of the WSBK race.
