From Monday 1st February all citizens they will be able to do a quick swab or a serological test in a pharmacy without a prescription and at a controlled price of 15 euros. “As the vaccination campaign goes on, we strengthen our commitment to fight the virus with all available means”, say Governor Stefano Bonaccini and the regional councilor for health policies Raffaele Donini.
Starting from Monday 1 February, anyone – as long as they are enrolled in the regional health care system – will be able to carry out the rapid nasal antigen test (rapid swab) and the serological test in affiliated pharmacies at the price of 15 euros.
No medical prescription will be required: just book at the pharmacy and show up for the appointment, provided of course that you do not have fever or other respiratory symptoms, and there have been no recent contacts with people affected by Covid-19.
In the meantime, the target of those who have the right to free buffer: educators, instructors and coaches of youth sports clubs, volunteers, caregivers. Furthermore, again from Monday, schoolchildren, students, school staff and professional training institutions that provide VET courses will be able to undergo the rapid swab every 15 days.
The frequency to carry out the test remains monthly for the other categories of people who are included in the free screening campaign:
- parents, including non-cohabitants, and their guardians / custodians of students
- other cohabiting family members of pupils / students
- grandparents not living together
- people with disabilities
- cohabiting family members of people with disabilities
From Monday 1st February they will be able to do the free tampon in the pharmacy which can be repeated once a month
- educators who work in extracurricular services, in youth centers, oratories, scouts, playrooms,
- instructors and coaches of youth sports clubs in the area
- volunteers from third sector associations who assist lonely elderly people or people with disabilities
- family caregivers who care for the elderly or people with disabilities
