The Welfare Secretariat announced the advance payment of two two months of Welfare pensions.
The Secretary of Welfare, Ariadna Montiel Reyes, reported at the morning press conference led by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, about the advancement of the payment of Pensions for the Welfare of Older Adults, Pension for the Welfare of People with Disabilities , and Program for the Welfare of Girls and Boys, Children of Working Mothers, through the Banco del Bienestar card.
In the Treasury Room of the National Palace, when announcing the bank dispersion of pensions and programs corresponding to the March-April and May-June two-month periods, he noted that this period, 12 million 117 thousand 166 beneficiaries aged 65 and over receive the Pension for the Well-being of Older Adults with annual social investment of 465 thousand 048 million pesos.
The Pension for the Well-being of People with Disabilities is delivered to one million 482 thousand 451 people with a social investment of 27 thousand 860 million pesos; and the Program for the Welfare of Girls and Boys, Children of Working Mothers has 276,416 beneficiaries and will exercise two thousand 926 million pesos.
He explained that the bank dispersion of the advance payment of two two months for the electoral period will be from January 29 to February 23 throughout the country; Elderly beneficiaries will receive 12 thousand pesos; people with disabilities, six thousand 200 pesos, while beneficiaries of the working mothers program, three thousand 200 pesos.
To provide better service, the deposit will be made according to the letter of the first surname, according to the following schedule:

Secretary Ariadna Montiel informed people who turned 65 between November 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024 and registered for the pension for older adults, the delivery of cards will be from February 1 to February 19 and the banking dispersion will be from February 26 to 29.
He recalled that with the Wellbeing Card you can make purchases in establishments or points of sale with a bank terminal, as well as withdraw at counters and ATMs of Banco del Bienestar branches without charging commissions. He specified that, from the day of the deposit, the beneficiaries and beneficiaries can use their resources and it is not necessary for them to go to the bank branch first.
