Denis Patapou, who grew up in the infrastructure of the Larnaca Youth Union Sports Club, was accepted to Dynamic Belgrade, one of the important basketball clubs in Serbia and the Belgrade League Championship. Denis will continue his basketball and educational life in Serbia.
Denis, who is only 13 years old, played for Larnaca Youth Union Sports Club in the U13 League in the 2022-2023 Basketball season and in the U14 and U16 leagues in the 2023-2024 Basketball season.
Head Coach of Larnaca Youth Union Sports Club responsible for Infrastructure Dzmitriy Paliaschuk noted in his statement that it is very important that their players prefer in Europe in a short period of two years.
Paliaschuk said that Basketball is developing very quickly in Iskele, including the infrastructure, and the acceptance of Denis in Serbia this year is the seal. Paliaschuk said that Gençlerbirliği will make a name for itself with the investments and work they will do in basketball infrastructure in the coming years, and that young people will have the opportunity to play in youth infrastructures both in the Region Europe and in Turkey.
