In the first Polish edition of “Big Brother” Alicja Walczak became known as a feisty “Gladiator”. Today, there is no trace of sharp makeup and studs on black leather clothes. Alicja Walczak has undergone a transformation not only in style, but also in spirit.
“Big Brother” was Alicja Walczak’s home for over 100 days. She did not win the program, but she gained great sympathy from viewers who appreciated her sharp humor and good heart – but she was also the one who was most often nominated to leave the Big Brother house. Eventually, she dropped out of the show just before the final. How did her further fate go?

After the program, Alicja Walczak focused on her own development. For a short time, she still cut coupons from the fame that the show gave her. She appeared in the film with the other participants as the agent “007 Kobra” in “Gulczas, and as you think” by Jerzy Gruza, she also appeared in “Yyyreek!!! Cosmic nomination”. Then, however, she decided to disappear from show business.
,, I finished three faculties, completed political science studies, then journalism, defended myself at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. I write icons, I paint pictures. During this time, the most important sense for me is spiritual development and everything we do – she said a few years ago in “Dzień Dobry TVN”.
Alicja Walczak works and lives in Gdańsk, where she is a painter and photographer. Already in “Big Brother” she made herself known as a person with a very rich spiritual life – she ended each day with prayer, she spoke directly about faith. After the program, her attitude did not change – her faith was further deepened by the accident. She wrote a book about her transformation.
,, I had a serious car accident, a head-on collision, which thank God I survived. However, I suffered a serious spinal injury, so I need to be rehabilitated all the time. I was also miraculously healed from the cancer my dad died of. It is small cell lung cancer. (…) In my case, all the nodules regressed. I had personal contact with Jesus, who said that nothing is impossible for him.
He likes to show his next pictures on Instagram. She has a small group of loyal fans who point out that she has not really changed much since her appearance in “Big Brother”. She still impresses with her slender figure and long hair, but her wardrobe has recently seen less of the leathers and studs she loved more than 20 years ago.
