New PlayStation 5 stocks are coming from GameStop Italy, intended for those with the D3 reservation. This is confirmed by the customer service of the chain itself, in response to a request made by one of our users.
These new incoming stocks will therefore not be intended for free sale, but will be delivered to all those who have made the reservation in the last few months and who report the wording on the receipt D3.
Unlike other retailers, GameStop has a slightly different PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X sales system. In fact, the pre-orders were opened very early, even with respect to the announcement of the launch date made by Sony. Indeed already at the end of 2019 it was possible to book a PS5.
This booking policy then continued throughout 2020, with pre-orders that have been divided into three brackets: D1, D2 and D3. To date, all the PlayStation 5s of the D1 and D2 brackets have been delivered, while the good news comes for those who belong to the D3 group.
In fact, how customer service responded, Starting next week, incoming consoles will be delivered following the pre-order order. We also asked for and received confirmation from a GameStop spokesperson.
In the coming days, the consoles will arrive in the warehouses, and then be distributed to the various stores between the end of January and the beginning of February according to the booking ordere. However, consoles will not be available for free sale.
We will always keep you updated on the availability of next-gen consoles both on our Facebook page and on Telegram channel dedicated to offers to which we invite you to subscribe. We also made one practical PlayStation 5 buying guide that we are constantly updating.
