From Frankenhofen and Pforzen: Lukas Trautwein and Hannes Bader (both 15) are the best student guides in Swabia

After the district decision last Friday, the best student guides in Swabia have been determined: 15-year-old Lukas Trautwein from Frankenhofen took first place, second was Hannes Bader from Pforzen (also 15 years old), from the Germaringen middle school. Tobias Maichen and Benedikt Kraft from the state secondary school in Memmingen shared third place.

After the district decision, the best in the district decision

Lukas Trautwein and Hannes Bader have already prevailed in the district decision for the Kaufbeuren roundabout guard and took first and second place. On Friday, June 3rd, 2022, the two best in the district competition in Neu-Ulm competed against the winners of the other district competitions. Here, too, the two 15-year-olds were able to assert themselves and take the first two places. After a theory test, a reaction test and the practical part, in which the controllers were supposed to estimate distances and speeds, the winners were determined.

Both at the state competition

Thus, both have qualified for the state competition. This will take place on July 22, 2022 in Würzburg. At the state competition, the best pilots from the district competitions put their skills to the test. The pilots were trained by the traffic educator, police commissioner Christine Hoffmann, from the Kaufbeuren police station. During the competition, the pilots are supervised by traffic educators from the Kaufbeuren police. Until then, they can provide help and advice. In the competition, the two pilots are then on their own. With a first place in the state decision, one of the two could earn the ticket for the federal decision in autumn.
