The hypothesis of a transfer of Amadou Diawara to Galatasaray seems to be losing consistency again: according to what Calciomercato.it reveals, the Turkish club is in fact about to close the purchase of Gustavo Assunção, a 21-year-old Brazilian midfielder from Famalicão.
The player is already in Istanbul, ready to sign. Its purchase would close the doors to Diawara, occupying the last slot for non-EU citizens available to the Turks.
