The 34-year-old lawyer Chiara Doria and her entrepreneur husband reported it to their neighbors in Nardò, in the province of Lecce. For two years they have been victims of harassment and teasing by the couple. In particular, listening to loud music even in the afternoon, throwing objects such as used medicines and rubbish into the garden, as well as buckets of water poured from the upper floor. A physical assault was also documented.
And conflict between neighbors escalated into a stalking complaint. Chiara Doriawell-known face of the Mediaset program ‘Forum’ended up in court on the side of the defendants. In fact, she received a complaint, together with her entrepreneur husband Gabriele Durante, from the councilor of NardoSara D’Ostuni.
Doria, 34 years old, is a lawyer with studies in Campania and in the same municipality of Lecce, as well as a well-known character on television: she appears in the Canale 5 program, wearing the gown as an auditor. With his 29-year-old partner he now has to defend himself against the accusations of injuries, beatings and threats. The dispute began in 2022 and is believed to be linked to the failure to build a wall between the two houses. From that moment on, a crescendo of aggressive behavior developed that intimidated the municipal administrator.
More specifically, the couple, according to the accusation, repeatedly had tolistened to music at high volumeeven during afternoon rest hours, generating disturbing noises in the condominium. But the accusations don’t stop there: Doria and Durante would have thrown objects in the councilor’s garden, as papers, garbage, buckets of water and even drugs. On one occasion, Doria would have underlined: “You don’t know who I amI am a renowned lawyer, with an office in Rome and important experience in the field. In my home I can do what I want, the ignorant law says so.”

A was also recorded alleged assault against D’Ostuni’s husband, accused of having been provoked, according to what was reported, by the 29-year-old. An act that would have landed the attacker in hospital with a fractured jaw.
The preliminary hearing is now scheduled for January 16.
However, Doria defends herself as follows: “The narrative that implicates me in alleged incidents of harassment towards neighbors is seriously distorted and in no way truthful and deserves careful analysis. The reported facts, which are based on only one version of events , they overlook a crucial element: over a year ago, I was the one who filed a complaint against the people who are now making these accusations”, we read in a statement from the Chiara Doria Law Firm itself.
“The timing of this new complaint is certainly suspiciousespecially considering the coincidence with the proceedings already started on the basis of my complaint. Justice will follow its course – concludes the lawyer – and I have full faith in the competent bodies to ensure that a complete and truthful view of the events emerges. I remain calm and focused, aware of my non-involvement in relation to these accusations.”
