Road to Europe. Three consecutive victories. Three wins away from home. Good feelings. Bold and brave team. ZASCAA!!!
Good streaks in football do not last forever and after the displacement of hundreds of Mallorcan fans comes the blow in Cornellà-El Prat.
The Mallorca that was seen during the first half in the Espanyol field was unrecognizable.
In the entire first half the only Majorcan incident was a warning to coach Jagoba Arrasate. Not a combination. Not a play. Not even an approximation. Not a shot or shot on goal. Nothing at all.
And in the second half, Larin’s goal, four changes in one go and appealing to heroics in the final stretch, even having eleven exaggerated minutes of extension by the referee.
No problem. It would be missing more. But we missed, precisely, the team that until yesterday was showing a competitive level very different from that shown against the blue and white.
Arrasate already said that we had to keep our feet on the ground, and many of us already ventured that euphoria is a bad companion.
Another thing is the enthusiasm that the team was generating and that they will have to recover after this skid in what I think was the worst game for the vermillions, including the one in Pamplona.
