In 2004 she seized the opportunity for a place at the racing seat from her role as a motorsport enthusiastic spectator and gained her first active motorsport experience in the car slalom discipline.
By the year 2014, some top placements at racing events and the Austrian Auto-Slalom State Championship could be achieved. However, over time, the urge for more prevailed and I switched to the main discipline of hillclimb rallies and hillclimbs. The prerequisites for this change were the purchase of a rally car, car transporter, lots of safety equipment for the car and for the racing driver.
“Anyone who wants to race must also be able to repair their car” – so Beate accepted this challenge, many sweaty hours were spent working on the car and many more will follow.
Beate Steiner finds the right professional balance in the Neunkirchen State Clinic, Department for Psychiatry and Psychotherapeutic Medicine, where Beate Steiner has been employed since 2000. In 2006 she took over the management of the psychiatric ward 2 and subsequently the day clinic in Neunkirchen and Wiener Neustadt.
After more than 18 years of active racing, the petrol is still in the blood and the preparations for the coming motorsport season are already being made with great anticipation.
