From April 16 to 18, 23 cities will host a site of Michelin will meet in Anderson, in the United States. On the program: sharing of experiences and partnerships on the theme of economy, culture, education or sport. Launched in 2014 by Olivier Bianchi, the PS mayor of Clermont-Ferrand, the International Network of Michelin Cities has found its place in the world of twinning with a unique positioning.

“This network was born from the desire of the mayor of Clermont-Ferrand and president of Clermont Auvergne Métropole to boost international cooperation by moving away from bilateral twinning schemes, to move towards multilateral cooperation between several cities”, recalls Jérôme Auslender, deputy of mayor in charge of international relations. Twenty-three cities from four continents (from Montreal, Canada, to Shenyang, China, via Braga, Portugal, Clermont-Ferrand being the only French city) are up to date with their membership, amounting to 1,000 at 5,000 euros depending on their size. They provide the only resources of the organization.
