The director of the International Baltic Ballet Festival, Lita Beiris, explains that the aim of the festival is to show everyone the values of the ballet world, from the opening benefit concert “Origo” to the productions of world famous artists in the Teatro dell ‘ Opera and in the VEF Palace of Culture.
The art of dance, the art of photography and the art of cinema: this year the International Baltic Ballet Festival shines the spotlight not only on exceptional events in the world of ballet, but the festival will begin with the opening of the exhibition “Centennial Flight of the Latvian National Ballet” at the Menzendorf House. As part of the ballet festival, there will also be two movie nights in the “Splendid Palace”. The first on 7 October – “Latvijas Baleta kods”.
The ballet festival will last from 4 to 30 October.
