From Chicago to Valencia: all the details of Bunbury’s goodbye to the stage

February 2022 will be a date that every lover of Heroes of Silence and, consequently, of Enrique Bunbury, will never forget. To be exact, the 28th was the day on which the Aragonese artist said that he was running out of batteries on stage, and that there was only strength for one last encore. Well, we already knew the dates a week ago and there are already several cities that have run out of tickets.

As already announced in the statement, it was not going to be just a Spanish tour, but rather it has 10 concerts outside our borders that will be in the United States and where 5 of them already have the “SOLD OUT” sign hanging on the door of the local. It will be 5 months filming around almost the entire globe, debuting in Chicago on May 3 and closing this ‘Last Tour’ of Bunbury on September 24 in Valencia.

Dates marked in red on the calendar? In addition to the start and end of the tour, we have May 6 in New York, where there are no tickets left, September 10 at the Wizink Center in Madrid or September 15 in Barcelona. But as the most special concert of the tour, it will be on September 3 in his city, at the Vive Latino in Zaragoza.

The situation that he lived on stage was something irremediable. He himself told in the announcement of his farewell that he couldn’t take it anymore: “Since some years, I’ve been dragging a malaise that has cost me a lot to locate and understand. Possibly, since the Mutaciones tour on 15-16 and especially on the Expectativas tour, in the almost two and a half years that the tour lasted, between 17-19″. “The international tour break, on the 20th and on the 21st, it made me think that perhaps my illness had faded and the desire to meet again with the public, technicians and musicians on stage was a much more powerful force” added Henry Bunbury.

He defined the feeling he has when facing a show as follows: “Lor what was normally a pleasure and delight, has become a source of immense pain and suffering. None of this ever happens to me if I’m not on tour.” That is why this last meeting with his followers will be a very special moment to put an end to an unforgettable race.
