As an excellent model cultivated by Huali’s table tennis sports-education integration model, Ma Yuefei has a relationship with the World University Games for more than 10 years, and has participated in the Universiade 6 times as an athlete and coach. In the Universiade, she has won four table tennis championships, harvested growth and witnessed changes. At the recent Chengdu Universiade, she led the team members to fight hard, bravely pursue their dreams, and fight for the country at the “doorstep”.
From an immature middle school student athlete to a “green pepper” in the Institute of Physical Education, Ma Yuefei has spent more than 20 springs and autumns in Huali, amidst the ping-pong sound of the ball colliding with the table. After entering the second year of junior high school, Ma Yuefei joined the Table Tennis Club of East China University of Science and Technology, studied under the teachers Zang Yuying and Jin Jian, and became a student athlete under the “one-stop” model of Huali table tennis sports education. Since being admitted to Huali University in 2008, Ma Yuefei has participated in 4 consecutive World University Games, 2 Asian University Table Tennis Championships, and 6 National University Table Tennis Championships. He has won more than 20 university student championships at all levels.
In 2012, he graduated as a graduate student and graduated with a master’s degree in 2015. Ma Yuefei inherited this love and responsibility, and became a “green pepper” in Huali Physical Education College. He fought side by side with Mr. Zang and Mr. Huang, and took over the school’s high-level table tennis training Team, and served as the backbone teacher of table tennis quality class. For more than 8 years, she has led the team to win a total of 120 championships from the World University Games, the National Student Games to Shanghai Municipal Competitions, and has trained dozens of college student world champions. The team’s competitive level has long stood at the top of the world’s college table tennis list.
Since staying at the school to teach, Ma Yuefei has always maintained a teaching volume of 2,500 hours per year. He has been fighting in the teaching position of high-intensity and high-level table tennis training almost all year round. In addition, he is also responsible for the daily teaching management of the table tennis team and major competitions. team leadership.
During the teaching, she pays attention to summarizing her personal experience in training in technology, tactics, psychology, etc., combining theoretical points such as the evolution of the world table tennis market, analysis of table tennis competition rules, table tennis trends and innovations, and constantly uses theory to guide new players. The practice, optimize and upgrade teaching methods, help students think and improve, and form a complete and advanced teaching system.
In addition, she combed through years of accumulated technical data, tactical videos and foreign cutting-edge materials through digital means, and used them in training plan revisions, technical discussions, and tactical training analysis to establish and improve a multimedia training platform.

Daily training must be strictly required, and ideological work must be done thoroughly. Ma Yuefei said that as a teacher, he must face difficulties and solve problems with students every day. Teachers and students must form trust and tacit understanding to jointly build team cohesion.
Speaking of the ideological work of being an athlete, Ma Yuefei admires Teacher Zang the most. She recalled that when she was a young team member, she missed a national training camp and was so wronged that she couldn’t speak, so she ran to Teacher Zang and cried. Teacher Zang said, why are you crying? Let’s train harder at home. Brothers and sisters can practice with you, and Teacher Zang will also serve you more. After a month of practice, let’s see who has made more progress. “Speaking a few words makes people feel that the grievance is gone, and they are full of energy.” Ma Yuefei said.
“The most important thing in doing this job is whether you are willing to give, whether you love the collective and ping-pong, and whether you can devote yourself to it every day, time and mind.” Ma Yuefei said, feeling the collective We need to grow up with the warmth of love, and we must continue to pass on this love.
