In total the country has 8,714,595 cases of Covid-19. There have been 244,447 deaths since the pandemic struck in 2020.

German

Yesterday, a new record was broken, where there were 35,806 new daily cases with 178 deaths. Currently, the total active cases are 293,938.

Earlier Health Minister Jens Spahn said that Germany was living with a pandemic where many people had not been vaccinated and there would be a 4th wave of the virus at “maximum strength”.
