Caution in concert at the Big Band Café

Friday and Saturday, 35 chefs invite you to taste their famous Normandy bites for 2 euros, in the cloister of the Abbaye-aux-Hommes.
You will also find on site a gourmet market with 14 exhibitors, to explore the richness and diversity of the Normandy terroir.

The piece Dissection of a snowfall
Within the framework of Boreal, the Caen Theater invites you to discover Dissection of a snowfall. This play by Christophe Rauck is taken from a text by Swedish feminist author Sara Stridsberg.
It tells the incredible fate of Queen Christina of Sweden. Solitary and unconventional, but also lucid and brilliant, she made the choice to abandon her crown in 1654 to live as she saw fit.

Grand Corps Malade back in Caen
With the success of his latest album Ladies certified platinum in less than two months, Grand Corps Malade returns for a tour of the zeniths.
Surrounded by his musicians, the artist who popularized the “spoken word” in France will present a more rhythmic concert than ever.

Guided tour of the Cat exhibition

The best of Nordic literature
Nordic literature is the very essence of Boreal, a festival organized by Normandy Book and Reading. On November 20 and 21, the Museum of Fine Arts will be the setting for numerous meetings, round tables and conferences with authors.
Scandinavians and Baltics will be on the program.
The guests ? Joanes Nielsen, Björn Larsson, Naja Marie Aidt, Bergsveinn Birgisson, Sigridur Hagalin Bjröndsdottir, Siri Ranva Hjelm Jacobsen or Jon Kalman Stefansson, to name a few!

Lilly Wood and the Prick au Cargö

Fashion in Roman times
Until December 31, the Vieux-la-Romaine Museum invites you to discover Mirror … my beautiful mirror, an exhibition on the fashion of the Gauls and Romans, between the 1st and the 3rd century AD. 168 objects (88 of which were discovered in Vieux) and around twenty costumes made for the occasion are on display.

Jean-Pierre Daroussin as Rimbaud
In 1924, the same year André Breton published the Manifesto of surrealism, we find the author of Une saison en enfer locked in his hospital room in Charleville.
Jean-Pierre Daroussin embodies this Rimbaud on fire, in this play by Jean-Michel Djian directed by Anna Novion.
