Tychy residents can now apply for an energy voucher. The support will range from PLN 300 to PLN 1,200, and detailed criteria and the amount of the benefit can be found on the website of the Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Tychy.
Who can get an energy voucher?
You can apply for an energy voucher from August 1, by submitting an appropriate application. The energy voucher is available for the period from July 1 to December 31, 2024 to every household if its monthly income does not exceed:

PLN 2,500 per person in a single-person household,

PLN 1,700 per person in a multi-person household.
The amount of the average monthly income is determined based on the income achieved in 2023, and the amount of this one-time voucher depends on the number of people in the household:

PLN 300 for single-person households,

400 PLN for 2-3 people,
-
500 PLN for 4-5 people,
-
PLN 600 for 6 people and more.
The amount of the energy voucher is also determined by the type of the main source of heating in the household. Households whose main source of heating is powered by electricity (heat pump/electric boiler) are entitled to an energy voucher in an increased amount. The condition is to enter or report such a source in the Central Emission Register of Buildings (CEEB) by 1 April 2024.
The increased energy voucher amount will be:

PLN 600 – for a single-person household;

PLN 800 – for a multi-person household consisting of 2 to 3 people;

PLN 1,000 – for a multi-person household consisting of 4 to 5 people;

PLN 1,200 – for a multi-person household of at least 6 people.
Where to apply for an energy voucher in Tychy
Applications can be submitted:
– in person at the seat of the Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Tychy – in the Family Benefits Department, ul. Barona 30;
– via the e-PUAP platform: /mops_tychy/hide
– send by traditional mail (for evidentiary purposes, it is recommended to send it by registered mail).
