Péter Vida, managing director of the Hungarian Returmatic Solutions Zrt., said at the press conference: the mobile recycling and processing equipment they have developed is, in a simplified way, a combination of a truck and automatic recycling machines, which allows them to reach even the smallest villages and collect recyclable packaging.

Mobile machines identify, count and compact the bottles, plastic bottles and metal boxes taken back from customers by the shops on the spot, and thanks to the IT system, MOHU transfers the redemption fee to the merchant almost immediately – he explained.

The manager said: the system is currently being tested, and the production of 83 mobile devices is underway.
