“A hyperloop is a “train” made up of so-called pods in which people can take a seat (this can go up to 60 people, ed.). They move in a vacuum tube, so there is no friction. The pods neither ride on wheels like the train, but float thanks to a magnetic field. A bit like the hover train in Japan,” says Max Wink, project developer at Hardt Hyperloop to VRT NWS. Hardt Hyperloop is a spin-off of Delft University of Technology.
