AVM donates its WiFi routers a new firmware version and now offers FritzOS 7.20 for download on. First, the flagship model that AVM FritzBox 7590, equipped with the new firmware, the FritzRepeater 2400 is to follow as a second product. Over the next few weeks, all other FritzBoxes and FritzRepeaters will gradually be provided with the update.-
The next FritzBox candidate for FritzOS 7.20 is probably the one FritzBox 7530. This is now being given another laboratory version to prepare for the big version jump; according to the AVM, it should already be a “release candidate”; Owners of the FritzBox can therefore assume that the final version 7.20 is within reach.
