Frits Barend, Ad Visser and Edwin Rutten are participating in the upcoming season of Better late than never. Earlier this week it was announced that Henny Huisman will participate in the new series of the program, which will move from RTL 4 to SBS6.
The 76-year-old Barend is best known for talk shows such as Barend & Van Dorp in The conversation. The 76-year-old Visser was the face of the music program for many years Toppop. Rutten (80) was featured in the children’s program Uncle Willem’s film.
Just like in the first two series, a group of elderly celebrities go on a trip with a tour guide. In the earlier seasons, Olcay Gulsen and Katja Schuurman were in charge. It is not yet known who will take on this role this time.
In 2018 and 2020, Gerard Cox, Peter Faber, Barrie Stevens and Willibrord Frequin traveled together. Frequin died last year at the age of eighty. Earlier it became clear that the rest of this cast would not return.
