‘Farmer seeks wife’ shifts up a gear. Chicken breeder Frits (23) from Hamont and horse caretaker Veerle (29) from Dilsen-Stokkem both have two favorites left.

The choice was not that difficult for Frits. It was no longer a secret that he had a bean for 23-year-old forensic auditor Hanne from Wellen for a while. But things are also getting better and better with the 23-year-old student An-Sofie from Peer. Lise (25) from Deurne therefore falls by the wayside. Fortunately, she felt the mood for a while and had no difficulty with his choice.
Veerle was emotional. Not so much because the choice was so difficult, but because she doesn’t want to hurt anyone. Raphaël and Tom had to lose out to 33-year-old security officer and rider Thibaut from Steenhuffel and 28-year-old train conductor and tennis teacher Nelis from Ronse.
The latter was also noticed at another time: during a game of rugby he tackled Tom so hard that his shoulder dislocated. At first it didn’t give a kick and pulled it back into place itself, although it was visibly difficult shortly afterwards.
Next Monday the moments of choice of Tristan, Bart, David and Dries are planned.
