Ten years on the air and 17 years after its end, the legendary TV series “Friends” still hides secrets and one of the biggest of them is revealed today, when the special new episode is broadcast on HBO Mach.
The romantic ebb and flow relationship between the characters Ross Gellar and Rachel Green was not just in front of the cameras.
Actors Jennifer Aniston and David Schuymer first revealed in the new episode that they liked each other a lot during the filming at the beginning of the series, but their first kiss was actually the first kiss of their characters in front of a camera in 1995.
“I remember once telling David that it would be awful if our first kiss was actually on national television. And so it happened! We kissed for the first time in that cafe“, says Aniston in the special edition of the sitcom.

The passionate kiss at Central Perk Cafe in the second season is considered one of the highlights of the show, which ended in 2004, after the two characters finally reunited as a couple.

Schuymer and Aniston say that their mutual attraction continued during the first two years spent on the set, BTA writes. However, they never became a couple outside of it, because they both had other relationships.
“We were like two ships passing each other because one of us was always in touch with the other. We did not cross this border, we respected it“Schuimer said.
