Friends Star Matthew Perry Dies at 54 in Tragic Jacuzzi Incident

American actor Matthew Perry, star of the series Friends, died at the age of 54, drowning in a jacuzzi inside his home in Los Angeles.

There were no drugs at the scene, and there was nothing strange at the scene of death, and death was diagnosed as due to cardiac arrest.

Perry’s most famous role was his portrayal of Chandler Bing in the series Friends, which ran for ten seasons between 1994 and 2004 and co-starred with Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Lisa Kudrow.

Perry was born in Massachusetts and grew up in Ottawa with his mother, a Canadian journalist who once worked as a press officer for former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau and married a Canadian media personality after her divorce from Perry’s father.
