In Bern, the focus was also on the topic of “digitalization and communication in clubs”: How can clubs use modern communication strategies, such as social media, to attract new members and involve existing supporters more closely? Numerous best practice examples were exchanged here, including the use of artificial intelligence.
The following day, the participants explored the Bern Zoo, which has changed and repositioned itself significantly in recent years. Under the motto “More space for diversity”, the approximately 15 hectare facility has created an impressive flora and fauna. The puffin facility, the vivarium and the seal facility, which is currently being renovated, are particularly great examples of this. A highlight was the impressive enclosure for the Ussurian brown bears “Misha” and “Masha” – a room that immerses visitors in a world that combines architecture and nature in a special way.
