Friends of Saint Loup-Saint-Paul: heritage days activities

The animations are planned this month, by the association of friends of Saint-Loup Saint-Paul, which aims to safeguard and enhance the heritage of the churches of Salles-la-Source.

It has already been very active this summer with the successful organization of two concerts and the daily opening of the 12th century Saint-Paul church, classified as a historical monument.

The feedback in the visitors’ book is brilliant: “an architectural nugget that testifies to true art”, particularly for its polychrome Christ from the 12th century. The explanatory leaflet made available to visitors was much appreciated. To round off the season, the association has developed an entire program for 17 and 18 September, as part of the European Heritage Days: Saturday 17 at 10.30 guided tour of the Church of Saint-Paul, from 10 a demonstration and cake doing on a spit. At 3 pm, the “French Songs Trio” accompanied on the piano by Alain Thamalet will host a musical snack until 5.30 pm.
