PARIS, KOMPAS.com – Nadine Devillers, 60, is the third person to be killed in a terror attack on the Notre Dame basilica. Nice city, France on Thursday (29/10/2020).
Launch from Mirror on Saturday (31/10/2020), Devillers lived near Notre Dame, which was the location of his murder.
Told by friend It’s good, Joelle Guichard, that before dying, Devillers had told her that she was determined to attend church regularly.
Guichard describes the Devillers as women who are devout and good to anyone.
“She often goes to pray for the people she loves. She will go to pray for her husband, for me … From time to time she will light a candle (to pray). She is someone who loves other people,” said Guichard.

Having been friends for 30 years, Guichard worries about the news of the Devillers, when he hears that there is terror in Nice.
“We have been friends for 30 years. I heard about the horrors in Nice. I immediately thought of Nadine,” he said as quoted by the press. Daily Mail on Saturday (31/10/2020).
“I took my phone to call her. It turned out that I got a missed call from Nadine’s husband,” she explained.
“As soon as he picked up (my) phone, I heard his sobs, I understand.”
“Is that him?” he asked sure. “Yes. There she is,” replied her husband.

“It’s a nightmare,” said the old friend.
The two women grew up in Draguignan, a town in the Var region, west of Nice.
Guichard added, “Nadien moved to Nice at the age of 18. He has a strong and pure heart.”
Meanwhile, himself from Draguignan moved to Canada. Even though they were far apart, the two friends remained on good terms through the telephone line.
Friend Another Nadine, Salvatore Gabriele, said that the 60-year-old woman is a caring and helpful person, despite her modest conditions.

“He smiles, is friendly, always makes sure that everything is going well for others. Despite his modest conditions, he remains dignified and does not usually show personal problems,” said Gabriele.
The heinous knife attack on the Notre Dame church in the city of Nice that killed 3 people is believed by French investigators to be planned and organized from abroad.
The profile of the attacker, the identity of his contacts and the speed of the attacks suggest the atrocities were premeditated by terrorists, according to a report by the newspaper Le Parisien.
Brahim Aouissaoui (21 years), the main suspect of the deadly assault, has beheaded Nadine Devillers (60 years), slit the throat of church guard Vincent Loques (55 years), and stabbed the mother of three, Simone Barreto Silva (44 years).
Aouissaoui was shot 14 times, after the attack occurred during his arrest. He is currently in the hospital in critical condition.

Speaking from Stax, Tunisia, the suspect’s mother said her son had left school and before the tragedy, she worked as a motorbike mechanic. Initially, he spent his salary on alcohol and drugs.
“I used to say to him, ‘we are poor and you are wasting money?’ said his mother.
“He would answer, ‘if God wills it, he will guide me to the right path, that is my business’,” explained his mother.
However, during the last 2.6 years, Aouissaoui is said to have changed to become more religious and stay at home.
“She prayed, left home to work and came back, didn’t hang out with other people or leave the house,” said her mother.
Her brother, Yassine, said that Aouissaoui worked harvesting olives in Italy after leaving Tunisia, then went to France.
